About Lovely professional university online (LPU)
Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a private university situated in Phagwara city, Punjab, India. The university was established in 2005 by Lovely International Trust under the Lovely Professional Universities Act, 2005 (Punjab Act 25 of 2005) and started functioning in 2006. The university is accredited by the University Grants Commission, the National Council for Teacher Education, and Architectural Council, and the Pharmaceutical Council of India. Lovely Professional University is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The law program is recognized by the Bar Council of India. In the Times World University Rankings 2022, LPU was ranked 1001-1200. In India, the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked Lovely Professional University 81st overall and 62nd among all universities.
TThe university offers online UG and PG courses in management, computer applications, commerce, arts, and sciences. The syllabus for all courses is industry-oriented as it is designed by expert doctors and experienced faculty. Apart from academic learning, the university also conducts skill classes conducted by a dedicated team of in-house faculty.
The university has its own Learning Management System (LMS), accessible as a mobile app, which is very user-friendly and has customized features to ensure a seamless learning experience for students.
LPU has live online classes where faculty and students can interact in real time, providing opportunities for structured communication. This is to ensure that online learners have an innovative classroom experience. However, to provide maximum flexibility for students, the live lectures will be recorded and accessible to all.

The admission process for LPU Online is done online. New registration starts every six months. Admission sessions usually start in January and July every year. Direct admission is based on educational qualifications and no other entrance test is conducted for admission. The procedure for accepting LPU Online courses is as follows.
The first step is registration. You must register and pay a registration fee of INR 500.
The next step is to fill out the online application form and upload the relevant documents.
Next, you need to pay for the course fees.
The university will review your documents and inform you of the next steps.
Once LPU is approved you will receive your LMS credentials through your registered email ID.
